Proofing the Existence of One God

by EMC

Dogma:

God, our Creator and Lord, can be known with certainty, by the natural light of reason and from created things. (De fide.)

The Existence of God is not just a matter of believe, but there are natural reasons that proof the existence of God. Theses proofs are not scientific, but rather philosophical. To understand them one must believe that there are objective truths and that there are certain self-evident first principles that are seen and do not need to be explained.

  1. Argument from Change

  3. Argument from Time and Contingency
  4. Argument from Degrees of Perfection

  6. Argument from Contingency
  7. The Moral Argument
